The piece I made was a dragon standing in front of flames and a monotone background . I choose to make a dragon because they symbolize power and confidence. This piece was important to me because I felt that showing a dragons power and confidence might give the viewer a sense of power . I came up with it when I was just sitting on my porch looking at the sky and I've always been in love with medival time periods and the way life was . The materials I used where watercolor ,sharpie and pencils , and used shadow and stippling. The easiest part of the piece was doing the fire and background and the hardest was the dragon because I free handed it then had to figure out how to make it pop. I'm proud of the whole piece because it means something to me deeply and not something I just drew for fun .
