I used watercolors to paint flowers. Then I mounted my paintings on a big black piece of paper. I made this piece of artwork for my final project because I wanted it to have a meaning behind it and I didn’t want it to just be something random, so I painted flowers because they are special to me and my family. I feel like they are such a loving thing to get as a gift and my family always gave the women and the girls in my family flowers on their birthday or on Mother's Day. They just mean a lot more than they usually would to other people. I was sitting there thinking of a final project and flowers came to my mind because I wanted to make something that was important to me. At first, I was thinking about doing makeup...then I realized the only reason I wanted to do that was because I thought it would be easy. Then I thought more and more about it and came to a conclusion that it wouldn’t really make sense for me to do that. Some challenges I had during this was painting the actual flowers they were hard to do off an online picture. The easiest part of this was figuring out the layout and how I'm going to present it. I'm very proud of how I used water color like for the first time and how the final flowers turned out In the end.
