My art is called “angel numbers” and “my angel”. I always see the numbers “111” weather its time or just numbers in general it’s always “111”. The other one is the date my grandpa was born, 12-26-1943 and the day he died, 01-15-2021. I chose to make this because the angel numbers “111” mean to follow your intuition and I chose to make one about my Grandpa because he always played a big role in my life and was always there. No artist influenced this, I always take a picture of the time when its 1:11 and it inspired me to make these.

 

The color coordination with the numbers “111” is grey so I wrote “111” in grey and used some blue/ purple to put some color on it and used black for the background. For the blue one I used December's birth stone, blue, and used it for everything and made the wings black. A challenge during this process was measuring everything out so it would all fit and one fun thing about this was painting everything and mixing the paint to make my own shade of whatever color. Overall I really enjoyed making these and I think it was a lot of fun.
